Cockpit / On deck seating
The Succes is one of
the few ships that have a spacious on-deck seating area, or cockpit,
which enables guests to sit directly near the steering wheel. The
cockpit is perfectly sheltered by the deck saloon and offers comfort
and safety for all guests.
Because of the cockpit’s design there is a lot of contact between
crew and guests. Therefore, guests can easily discuss the sailing
route and the manoeuvres with the crew and even steer the 40-metres
long ship themselves!
In the evenings, the cockpit is perfectly suitable for enjoying a
drink in the outside while talking about the exciting day.
Deck and
Downstairs Saloon
From the cockpit, you
have direct access to the spacious saloon in the hold. From the cosy
seating areas you have a magnificent and dry view through the large
windows on the open water. In this saloon, you will find a bar with
a copper beer tap and, furthermore, television, radio, DVD, CD and
mp3 player, to enhance the atmosphere.
The deck saloon and downstairs saloon are both decorated with red
mahogany and lots of copper details: the ideal places to relax and
enjoy the trip.
From the deck saloon it is only five steps down to the hold, where
the second spacious saloon is situated. This saloon has 6 large
tables and enough seating to enjoy a festive dinner with 24 people.
By changing the arrangement of the tables, the saloon becomes the
perfect location for a business meeting or presentation. Naturally,
a screen for the beamer and a flip-over are available.
Adjacent to the saloon downstairs, there is a professional kitchen:
the galley. The kitchen is decorated spaciously with a stove that
has 6 burners, a professional convection oven and dishwasher, fridge,
and everything that you might need during your sailing trip.
In the pantry you will find a large fridge, freezer, washing- and
drying machine, and enough space to store foods.
Sleeping
comfort
Regarding the
sleeping comfort, the Succes lives up to its name! The Succes has 12
identical, spacious two-person cabins that all have their own
private shower and bathroom.
In each room you will find bunkbeds, a closet, and a sink.
When you arrive, the beds will be made and each guest will receive
towels.
In the bathroom that is situated next to the cabin, you will find
the toilet and a shower with a thermostatically controlled tap.
The cabins are all equipped with 220 Volt sockets that have power 24
h/day. Shaving, blow drying, and charging all kinds of equipment is
thus always possible. Furthermore, there is central heating and
warm/cold water from the tap.
